Blake Yeager is currently the lead Product Manager for IaaS at HP Cloud Services.  Blake is responsible for the HP Cloud Compute and HP Cloud Object Storage products.  Both products are based on OpenStack an open source cloud technology stack and are currently in private beta release.

Prior to joining HP, Blake served as the Product Line Leader for Cloud Compute at San Antonio based Rackspace Hosting.  Blake also built and led the Program Management and Quality Assurance teams for the Rackspace Cloud.  While at Rackspace Blake was part of the team that initially launched the OpenStack project.

Blake previously worked as the VP of R&D for Gandi Innovations, a grand-format digital inkjet printer manufacturer.  Blake was responsible for leading the product development teams and managing engineering activities.

Blake obtained his undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio where he studied Computer Engineering, focusing on embedded systems engineering and design.
